Monq Raises $3M to Advance AI Negotiation Platform for Enterprises

London-based Monq has emerged from stealth with $3 million in pre-seed funding to launch its AI-driven strategic negotiation platform. The round was led by Outward VC, with participation from Cornerstone VC, Portfolio Ventures, Octopus Ventures, Endurance Ventures, Lakestar Halo and strategic angels.

Founded in April by Revolut and Deutsche Bank alumni, Monq is addressing a major inefficiency in enterprise operations: how global corporations negotiate their most important deals. Complex, high-value supplier contracts in the $1 million to $100 million range are central to enterprises across industries, including manufacturing, technology, logistics and professional services. Yet, despite being part of a $10.4 trillion market, strategic procurement remains one of the few core enterprise functions not fully automated.

Monq's multi-agent AI system combines LLM-based reasoning, contract intelligence and behavioural science to support, rather than replace, human judgment. Each agent analyses deal history, supplier performance data and negotiation behaviour patterns to anticipate counterparty responses, suggest negotiation levers and, where authorized, autonomously manage deals end-to-end.

"Teams retain full control over negotiation parameters and can decide how much to delegate, allowing them to focus on higher-value relationship building and strategy while gaining a measurable competitive advantage," said Yasin Bostancı, co-founder and CEO of Monq.

According to industry sources, strategic procurement remains heavily manual, with nearly a quarter of procurement time spent on low-value tasks. Existing technology solutions have focused on automating existing processes rather than fundamentally changing how procurement teams operate.

"Monq is addressing a massive pain point for global enterprises, automating a mission-critical function that has long been neglected by technology," said Octopus Ventures partner Matias Yofre. "Their AI-driven approach has the potential to drive significant efficiencies and savings for their customers."

The new funding will allow Monq to further develop its AI platform and expand its team of experts in machine learning, natural language processing and behavioral economics. The startup plans to target large enterprises across multiple sectors, offering a competitive edge in an environment of rising costs and supply chain disruptions.

"Monq's solution comes at a critical time, as corporations face growing pressure to optimize their procurement and manage supplier relationships more strategically," noted Outward VC partner Samantha Jaume. "We're excited to support their mission of bringing AI-powered negotiation to the enterprise."
