Filiale exclusive de la Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec, CDPQ Infra agit à titre de donneur d’ouvrage pour de grands projets d’infrastructures publiques. Nous assumons la responsabilité de toutes les phases des projets : conception, planification, financement, développement de projet, stratégie d’approvisionnement, réalisation et exploitation.

CDPQ Infra est notamment responsable du déploiement du Réseau express métropolitain (REM) dans le Grand Montréal et de la mise en œuvre du projet TramCité à Québec. CDPQ Infra est aussi membre du groupe Cadence, qui a remporté l’appel d’offres du gouvernement fédéral pour le projet de train à grande vitesse (TGV) Alto dans le corridor Québec-Toronto.

Le REM est un réseau de transport collectif intégré de 67 kilomètres. À terme, il reliera le centre-ville de Montréal, la Rive-Sud, l’ouest de l’île (Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue), la Rive-Nord (Deux-Montagnes) et l’aéroport international Montréal-Trudeau grâce à un système de métro léger sur rail unifié, électrique et entièrement automatisé. Le premier segment du REM, reliant Brossard à Gare Centrale, a été mis en service en juillet 2023.

TramCité est un projet de tramway moderne de 19 kilomètres dont la mise en service est prévue en 2033. Il reliera les secteurs Le Gendre, Sainte-Foy, Université Laval, colline Parlementaire, Saint-Roch et Charlesbourg. TramCité constitue la colonne vertébrale du plan CITÉ, le plan directeur de mobilité de CDPQ Infra pour la Communauté métropolitaine de Québec.
