The ideal candidate would have a great familiarity with financial instruments, accounting principles and experience with the Advent Geneva system. The candidate must have proven subject matter expertise using Advent Geneva, strong verbal/written communication skills, and be a cultural fit with an emphasis on teamwork, excellence, and results.
 
Role and Responsibilities

Act as Geneva subject-matter expert, define best practices, and troubleshoot accounting and system issues.
Act a product Analyst for the strategic firmwide strategic products with Investment and Client systems teams.
Geneva system and application support. 
Working closely with Geneva users and developers addressing accounting data issues. 
Overseeing and implementing Geneva upgrades and patch releases.
Defining operational workflows and custom solutions involving Geneva.
Working with Advent to troubleshoot and request enhancements. 
Overseeing the onboarding, operational workflows, and reporting requirements for new mandates.

 
Requirements

Strong understanding of Advent Geneva.
Bachelor's or master’s degree in accounting or business administration.
Proven work experience as a Geneva subject matter expert role, with a focus on developing custom loaders/reports for loading/extracting data to/from Geneva.
Knowledge of Geneva RSL or reporting framework.
Familiarity with SQL/databases.
Financial Industry experience engaged in Private Equity/Credit type of business domain.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot and debug complex accounting issues.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
