The Role:
Ardian Tokyo office is looking for a long-term intern. The Intern will work among the investment and investor relations teams to handle multiple projects and daily tasks. The Intern is expected to deliver quality outputs on a timely manner, and provide valuable insights to the respective teams and management.
Screen Japanese and Asian private equity market
Compile information, conduct research, and evaluate fund managers
Conduct due diligence (strategy, team, performance, projections, transaction modelling, etc.)
Value and price equity interests in private equity funds and companies
Prepare investment recommendations and memos
Review quarterly financial statements of underlying investments
Monitor investments and development vs. targeted performance
Prepare ad hoc analysis and reporting presentations
Profile:
Students or graduates of top business/finance schools or universities (Master’s degree and/or Major in Finance would be a comparative advantage)
Strong commercial understanding of Private Equity
Ideally the candidate would have prior experience in investment bank, corporate advisory, private equity, financial audit positions
Fluency in Japanese and English
