The Asset-Based Finance (ABF) team is part of KKR’s broader Credit platform that manages more than $254 billion of assets. The ABF team focuses on non-corporate, private credit investments which are backed by financial or hard assets. Today, the firm’s ABF platform manages more than $74 billion of assets. There are more than 50 professionals with direct involvement in the ABF effort.
POSITION SUMMARY
KKR is seeking an experienced, analytical investment professional at the Analyst or Associate level to join its ABF team in New York. In this role, the successful candidate will play a critical part in evaluating investment opportunities and conducting thorough analyses of granular pools of loans and other asset-based collateral. KKR is an active participant in these markets and is looking for someone to contribute to underwriting and executing new investments as well as helping to manage a sizable existing portfolio.  This is an exciting opportunity to help grow the investment strategy and work collaboratively with a dynamic team of professionals.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist with analysis of investments involving asset-backed securities and collateral types, including supporting asset and liability cash flow modeling

Support investment team members by gathering data on potential investment opportunities and helping develop recommendations
Draft sections of investment memos and compile reporting materials under supervision
Help track portfolio performance metrics and gather data on trends for team review
Support due diligence processes by collecting and organizing relevant information

Support deal execution processes and post-closing workstreams
