The position holder will oversee the revenue function of the finance team which is responsible for the operational and financial reporting aspects for the Pantheon Group. In this role, you will play a critical role in managing and analysing complex revenue streams across multiple funds and jurisdictions. This position is responsible for the Group’s accurate revenue recognition (computation, accounting, billing, reconciliation to cash, etc.) and for supporting client performance reporting. This role collaborates closely with legal, investor relations and fund finance teams to understand contractual revenue terms, fee rates, billing cadence etc., as well as working with internal counterparties to optimize financial outcomes. This role will also lead any future effort to enhance, modify, and/or replace key Revenue tools and systems, and is also responsible for the design, implementation, day-to-day operation of internal controls over Revenue, including liasing with parties involved in the internal and external audit thereof.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in accounting, a deep understanding of private equity structures, excellent computation/excel modelling skills, a sharp control eye, a mastery of effective and efficient end-to-end processes, and a proactive approach to financial analysis and compliance. Key Responsibilities :

Leading and developing the Revenue team’s analysts and associates.
Ensure accurate and timely recognition of management fees, carried interest, and other fund-related revenues in the books and records of the Group and its component entities.

Revenue Recognition

Ensure accurate and timely recognition of management fees, carried interest, and other fund-related revenues in accordance with applicable accounting standards (predominantly ASC 606/IFRS 15, ASC 820), including documenting technical accounting conclusions reached, policies applied etc.
Documentation and support for revenue recognition accounting policies.
Prepare and review revenue entries and reconciliations across multiple corporate entities.
Manage the month-end close process for Revenue (and certain associated cost categories).
Managing the colletion of revenues in cash / the AR process.
Reviewing deal docs for new/modified funds and structures to identify the revenue streams and determining the appropriate revenue recognition policies and practices
