Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline. 10+ years of experience in software engineering and technology, including 5+ years in trading, market technology, or other high-performance, data-intensive environments. Proven record of designing, developing, and deploying production-grade trading systems that emphasize reliability, fault tolerance, and maintainability. Broad exposure to trading technologies and workflows across asset classes, including market data ingestion, order management, execution, and post-trade analytics. Deep expertise in transaction cost analysis (TCA), P&L attribution, risk factor modeling, and order routing, combined with a strong understanding of market structure, liquidity dynamics, and exchange protocols. Practical experience implementing event-driven architectures and event sourcing to enable high-throughput, observable, and auditable systems with strong temporal consistency. Strong technical foundation in microservices design, distributed systems, and data streaming platforms (e.g., Aeron, Kafka, Pulsar, or equivalent), emphasizing loose coupling, horizontal scalability, and resilience. Hands-on experience with performance optimization, including profiling, asynchronous processing, caching strategies, and data pipeline tuning; ultra-low-latency experience a plus but not a requirement.

We are seeking a Lead Full Stack Engineer to join our New York office, working directly with the Credit Trading Desk. This individual will collaborate with investment professionals and stakeholders to deliver scalable technology solutions. The role combines hands-on development with technical leadership, ensuring the business has the tools and platforms needed for efficient decision-making and execution.
